Roller compaction

Roller Compaction is the most commonly deployed granulation processing technique in the manufacture of Solid Oral Dosage forms. Properties such as ribbon density potency and granule consistency (assay and particle size consistency can all be measured in real time using the Sentronic SentroPAT FO NIR in combination with a side ways measuring probe for ribbons as they come off the roller or a DRLS probe for the case for measuring granules in the outlet chute of the granulator.
